Hi everyone! I'm slightly annoyed today, and that's because of the Blogger app. When I realised the app could let me post photos, I was thrilled. I actually spent about 2 hours typing about my mini haul. And then of course. it wouldn't publish. I've tried copying and pasting, but the pictures will not load. My laptop is on its last legs, and I am saving for a MacBook Air, but it's quite irritating that I can't post photos for a while.
Oh well. My birthday is in 7 months. This may take a while.

January Favourites!
Hi everyone! Sorry I've not posted, it's been a busy week and this is quite late but this is just what I've been loving in January, and positive things that have happened in January. I hope you like it!
First of all has to be Simple. I've been using their Kind to Skin Vital Vitamin Day Cream with SPF 15, along with the matching night cream. They've made my skin really soft which is pretty rare considering I have quite bad eczema. Unfortunately I'm writing this on my phone which is being awful and not letting me post pictures, but the day cream is £3.33 at Boots. It's usually £4.99 but just now they're doing one third off all Simple products so hurry while that's on!! The night cream is also in this deal at £3.99 ( normal price £5.99. ) Irritatingly enough, I got them both before this deal which tends to happen a lot with me!
My next favourite would have to be the Lush lip scrubs. In the winter your lips get dry and chapped, and quite often very sore. I have been using the popcorn one this month. I usually have the bubblegum one on me, but once it opened in my bag and got all gunky and generally disgusting, so when I went to the original Poole Lush, they had the popcorn one on half price, so I got that for £2.25 ( usually £5.50. )
On the topic of lips, I've also been using the Burts Bees peppermint lip balm. I use this after the popcorn lip scrub, which can taste a bit odd as you'd elect so I plan to pick up the Mint Julips lip scrub which would not taste of minty caramel ( It doesn't sound nice, does it? ) It's lovely because it really tingles on your lips! I just pop that in my handbag if I'm going into town. I got this in a two set with a honey lip balm, ( probably the more signature product ) but I preferred the peppermint for this list. On it's own the peppermint one is £3.69 at Boots.
Off the topic of beauty, a candle I've been loving has been Fireside Treats by Yankee Candle. I actually got this before January around November in a local garden centre, but I never really used it until now and WOW. I think the main reason I love it so much is because when I went to Poole for the New Year, we roasted marshmallows which I've never actually done before! Apart from one falling and melting all over my new jumper, it was lovely and we plan to do it next year. When I got home after a long, long car trip, I was exhausted ( is it just me, who after sitting in a car for around 8-10 hours, feels exhausted even though all I did was beg for Krispy Kremes at service stations? ) I unpacked, got in my pyjamas, and lit my candle. I'm not really a candle person, ( I can't have a bath with candles. I once had a pamper night with candles and then I saw how close they were and all I could think was nopenopenope. In case you haven't noticed , I'm not really a risk taker. ) But honestly , I've lit this candle practically every single light! I think I may have got it as Candle of the Month, but for one of those tiny ones in jars it's £7.99 .
My final favourite would have to be the book Love Tanya by Tanya Burr. Have you ever read a book that makes you want to do about 40 backflips, join a gym, and change your life? This is one of those books. I felt like the book was talking straight to me about what I wanted to change, who I wanted to be in life ( which at the moment is a classy woman who has a cat and 42 Jo Malone candles, which does not seem to be a career option YET ) but I couldn't put it down. The book is half autobiography, half tips on body, mind and makeup etc. It helped me because sometimes my petite frame can get irritating in terms of what I can buy, ( wink to my username ) but it showed me all bodies are perfect, which can be quite hard to remember when all of your friends / people you know have stunning, curvy frames that make you look like a stick with little arms and legs, but it showed me to love my body which is not a bad thing. The book is £12.99 but I got it for £9.99 in Waterstones with a £3 off deal.
Finally I'd like to note positive things that have happened to me in January.
I've started eating healthier
I'm baking more
I feel more confident every day
I started this blog ( Well that was this month but we'll brush that aside )
I'm going on more walks!
I know that seems quite short but every single one on their own is quite good I think! I'd love to know what your January favourites have been!

Hello World!
Hi! As you can probably see from the name, I'm Abigail, and this will just be my little place to talk about all sorts of stuff. I've decided not to tell anyone who I know for the sake of safety / getting called out on it at school etc. I've told one person , who I'll keep anonymous :)
Sorry this is so rubbish and extremely short, but I'm not very used to this and I'm on my phone!
